BSA (Business Software Alliance) will host Brazil Tech Forum, the fourth in a series of events dedicated to discussing innovation and challenges faced by the technology market. The event brings a discussion on the role of information technology in leading to and promoting development in emerging economies.
Brazil Tech Forum will take place in São Paulo, on August 10th, 2004, and focus on the role played by the information technology industry in the promotion of development, bringing together executives and leaders of the IT industry, members of government, lawmakers and attorneys dedicated to the field of intellectual property. Software has recently been officially chosen by the Brazilian government as one of the “Strategic Sectors of Brazilian Industry for Growth”. The IT industry is regarded as a productivity-driver for the whole economy.
